GTS Technology Solutions has been in business for over 40 years – since 1984. As of 2024, however, we are proud to be a fully employee-owned company. Our team stands behind the work that we do, and how we do it, making us a trustworthy, reliable IT solutions partner.

Britta Butler

CEO

Britta serves as the CEO and President of GTS, bringing over 25 years of public sector and IT experience. She joined GTS in January 2012 to create our K12 Education business and has since been instrumental since then in shaping the company’s overall strategy and leading the senior leadership teams. With a background that includes roles in public education, Britta transitioned to the private sector with a laser focus on delivering excellent service to our customers. Her dedication to customer success is complemented by her commitment to fostering a high-performing team and cultivating a company culture that attracts and retains top talent. Britta’s leadership is marked by her strategic approach to enabling GTS’s employees to thrive and her unwavering focus on delivering a superior customer experience. Because of a passion for developing a strong employee owned company with steadfast commitment to excellence and operational efficiency, she loves being able to give back to our communities and make Texas a better place for her three daughters.

Lindsey McKann

CFO

Lindsey serves as the Chief Financial Officer of GTS, bringing over 15 years of accounting experience across multiple industries, including SAAS technology, insurance, and public accounting/auditing. She joined GTS in May 2014 and has since been responsible for leading the accounting team and overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. Lindsey graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Her leadership is marked by her strategic approach to financial management and her commitment to fostering a high-performing team. Lindsey’s dedication to excellence and operational efficiency is evident in her work, ensuring that GTS maintains its financial health and stability. Under her guidance, GTS continues to thrive, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to financial integrity and growth. Lindsey’s vision and expertise are invaluable assets that drive the organization towards sustained success. Born and raised in Texas, Lindsey has resided in Austin for 30 years.

Juli Primeaux

EVP

Juli serves as the Executive Vice President of GTS, bringing over 20 years of sales and management experience to the table. She joined GTS in 2014 and has since been instrumental in leading and motivating the GTS teams. Juli is dedicated to providing an experience that leaves customers feeling valued and appreciated, continuously evaluating the quoting and sales process to ensure seamless customer interactions. Her extensive background includes roles at AT&T and Office Depot, where she honed her skills in sales and management. A native of New Jersey, Juli lived in South Louisiana for nine years before moving to Austin in 2012. Her leadership is distinguished by an outstanding team and maintaining a culture that serves our employees. Under her guidance, GTS continues to grow and maintain our promise of excellence and operational efficiency. Juli’s vision and know-how are what maintain our success and propel GTS in growth . When not working, Juli enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and pet dog.

Nathan Tart

Executive Director of Specialized Solutions

Nathan serves as the Vice President of Specialized Solutions at GTS, where he leads the teams over our public safety, datacenter, cybersecurity, AV and staffing to deliver technology solutions and services of the highest quality in terms of reliability, accuracy, and timeliness. Since joining GTS in 2008, Nathan’s extensive knowledge of technology products, unwavering commitment to customer service, and positive attitude have earned him recognition and respect from his colleagues, partners, and customers. Nathan graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. His leadership is marked by his strategic approach to service delivery and his dedication to fostering high-performing teams. Nathan’s enthusiasm and energy, instilled by his parents, are evident in both his professional and personal life. Under his guidance, GTS continues to thrive, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to excellence and operational efficiency. Nathan’s vision and expertise are invaluable assets that drive the organization towards sustained success and growth. In his downtime, Nathan enjoys paddling the Texas rivers and has completed The Texas Water Safari, also known as the World’s Toughest Canoe Race, five times. He hopes to pass his love of the outdoors down to his two children.

Tracie Simental

Executive Director of Facilities

Tracie Simental serves as the Vice President of GTS Services, bringing over 28 years of expertise in Technology Support within the Public Sector. With an extensive background as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) spanning 17 years and a Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Tracie joined GTS seven years ago, equipped with a profound knowledge in the design and implementation of complex enterprise-level systems.

Her technical acumen is complemented by a fervent dedication to fostering high-performing teams and cultivating a company culture that attracts and retains top talent. Tracie’s leadership is marked by her commitment to excellence and her strategic approach to developing innovative solutions.

Under her guidance, GTS Services continues to thrive, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to technological advancement and operational efficiency. Tracie’s vision and expertise are invaluable assets that propel the organization towards sustained success and growth.

Shawn Trotter

Vice President of Sales

Shawn Trotter recently joined GTS Technologies as Vice President of Sales. GTS, an employee-owned company, is known for its commitment to service through giving. Before joining GTS, Shawn spent 25 years at Dell Technologies, holding various leadership roles in sales and enablement. She is also an ICF certified Executive Coach, deeply passionate about building culture, empowering and developing her team and building strong customer relationships. Outside of work, Shawn has been married to her best friend, Wil, for 32 years. They have two children, Drake (31) and Matteson (21), and one granddaughter, Deklyn (2). Shawn loves traveling, spending time with her family, and volunteering. She has actively served as a youth ministry leader at her church and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Lone Star Paralysis Foundation.
